My first bigger painting, also more conceptual. Oil in canvas, 80 x 60 cm, 2025

I called it Play - a painted representation of two overlaid images of my son’s hands playing with a crystal cube. The idea was to share a glimpse of a magical moment of innocence and lightness, the split second when light and shadow are equal players with the child, a movement frozen in time. Such a tiny speck in the universe’s space-time, and yet filled with so much: gentleness, softness, colourful reflections, ease, sharp moves, light and dark dynamic.
