Two of my favourite things: hands and soft pastels. Soft pastels on paper, 20 x 30 cm, 2025Orange fingers is a quick drawing using a series of photos I made earlier when my son was playing with this crystal cube in yellow light. It is one of the works I really like: imperfect with proportions and anatomy but I did manage to capture the light the way I wanted.
It is a sweet and cute snapshot of our life, no big meaning behind it, just ease and joy, light mood and focus, appreciation for something so simple and grounding: my child is playing, he is relaxed and absorbed, and I’m just privileged to witness this serenity.
